Blades and / Shaft

Braca I (no. 1) – Large

This is an original design and our most widely used paddle. A number of our other models were developed from this ever-popular classic shape. It is recommended for male athletes.

Blade Size: 805 cm2
Weight (Approx.): 750 grams
Blade Carbon Content: 100%
Shaft Carbon Content: 100%

Braca II (no. 2) – Large

Identical in design to the Braca 1, but it has an increased pitch. It was developed predominantly for sprint events but can be successfully used for longer distances, as well. This model has an extremely firm ‘catch’

Blade Size: 815 cm2
Weight (Approx.): 750 grams
Blade Carbon Content: 100%
Shaft Carbon Content: 100%

Braca IV (no. 4) – Medium

Our most popular Braca 1 shape was redesigned with a reduced blade to make the Braca IV. An exceptional blade for lighter weight male and female athletes.
The Braca IV Recreational Paddle is preferred by the recreational paddler looking for the tear drop shaped blade.
Reduced carbon content to keep it more economically priced.
The Braca IV Marathon Blade is designed for the competitive marathon paddler in mind. The edge of the blade is slightly thicker and is reinforced with Kevlar that makes it highly impact resistant against rocks.

Braca IX (no. 9) Hybrid Model – Medium to Large

Braca IX is a new line of Braca paddles. It was engineered using advanced kinetic, biomechanical and advance material science concepts to combine the best characteristics from multiple paddle designs into one hybrid model. The revolutionary idea enables the paddle to provide different characteristics during each phase of the stroke (catch, drive and exit).
